Dr. Benson Honig (Ph.D. Stanford University) is the Teresa Cascioli Chair in Entrepreneurial Leadership, DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University.

His CSCD activities are geographically focused on North America, South America, Africa, EU and the Middle East.

Dr Honig has published in over 100 leading academic journals, is the past chair of the Academy of Management Ethics Education Committee and is currently a board member of the Africa Academy of Management. His research interests include business planning, nascent entrepreneurship, transnational entrepreneurship, ethics in scholarship, immigration and social entrepreneurship, social capital, and entrepreneurship in transition environments. 

Dr. Honig’s CSCD work includes examining and comparing public and NGO policy in the immigration sphere, as well as using action research to evaluate networks and trends in public policy from a comparative perspective.

Recent research includes immigrant absorption and repatriation, as well as elder-preneurship and the implications of an aging workforce.
