Mads Borregaard Larsen is currently studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration at Aalborg University. During his studies, he has developed a profound interest in diplomacy and foreign affairs, which in 2022 led him to an internship followed by a position as Assistant Officer at the Danish Embassy in Brasilia, Brazil. 

During his employment as Assistant Officer, Mads supported the inception phase of a renewable energy cooperation program between the Danish and Brazilian governments. This experience further fanned the flames of his dream of working in the Danish Foreign Service.

His journey in CSCD began as a member of the CSCD Youth Academy, followed by being appointed by the CSCD Board as a “CSCD Honorary Youth Ambassador” to serve the academy and fulfill its goals.
