Elena Pedersen is currently studying for a master’s degree in Economics at the University of Copenhagen. Throughout her studies, Elena has focused on geo-economics, international relations, and diplomacy, which she has further strengthened with studies in Canada and the Netherlands.

Elena has gained further knowledge within these fields through her work with communications at the UN, inter-institutional relations and policy-making at the EU, and bilateral trade relations at the Danish Embassy in France. She currently works with economic diplomacy and trade at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

Her journey in CSCD began as a member of the CSCD Youth Academy, followed by being appointed by the CSCD Board as a “CSCD Honorary Youth Ambassador” to serve the academy and fulfill its goals.
