Dr. Veland Ramadani is an Associate Professor at South-East European University, Republic of North Macedonia, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in entrepreneurship and small business management. Further he is Director of SEEU Campus in Skopje and member of Supervisory Board & acting COO of Development Bank of North Macedonia.

His CSCD activities are geographically focused on North Macedonia, Balkan, Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Russia. He has vast experience both in Science Diplomacy and Commercial Diplomacy throughout the last two decades.

Dr. Ramadani research interests include entrepreneurship, small business management and family businesses, and he is an Associate Editor of International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business (IJESB).

He was engaged by The President of Republic of North Macedonia as a member of experts’ committee to analyse the economical, technological and juridical conditions for establishing techno-parks in the Republic of North Macedonia. He also realized different training programmes with the heads of departments in Ministry of Economy.

Dr. Ramadani received the Award for Excellence 2016 – Outstanding Paper by Emerald Group Publishing (Journal of Enterprising Communities: People and Places in the Global Economy).

His last book is Entrepreneurship in Former Yugoslavia, published by Springer.
